A girl is only as good as her squad. Yes, it’s a rip off of “A man is only as good as his team,” but I cannot emphasize enough the importance of having the right people around you to back you up and to believe in you. Life is so much easier and enjoyable if you have the right #Squad in your work-life and personal-life.
My Scorpio Sister, Lyndee, and I recently celebrated our birthdays together and it was a blast! We wanted to set it up all nicely so that I could take photos of the party for my blog. Some things didn’t go according to plan, but it didn’t matter as we had the time of our lives. So here are my lessons-learned so that you can throw yourself a blog-worthy party. 1. Book an accommodating venue.
Sometimes I feel OLD. My two wrinkles are particularly obvious that day, my back is aching for no reason and I’m going to bed early on a Saturday night. No wonder people complain about aging and dread growing old. Well, I’m tired of it! No, I’m not tired of getting old. I’m tired of hearing the complaints.
