My sister is graduating from the Alberta College of Art and Design this very month of May 2017! I am so proud of her and excited for her … and I was inspired to talk about what I learned in the transition from school life to work life. A girl is only as good as her squad. Yes, it’s a rip off of “A man is only as good as his team,” but I cannot emphasize enough the importance of having the right people around you to back you up and to believe in you. Life is so much easier and enjoyable if you have the right #Squad in your work-life and personal-life.
My future sister-in-law, Nisha, is getting married in Ethiopia and I’m so excited to be a part of it! But this meant that I needed a green and black sari for her wedding as I’m a part of her unofficial bridal party 🙂 Continue reading
