Hello, there! Yes, I’m at that age in which almost everyone I know is getting engaged or married. This year, Jett and I will be attending at least 4 weddings – one of them being our own in St. Lucia. But wait a minute. “How can you be getting married in St. Lucia this year when this blog is about your dream wedding in the Philippines?” you might ask. Well friends, I never wanted to be “that girl”, but I ended up being that girl with two weddings and two wedding dresses. Jett and I did a religious ceremony in the Philippines (so we are now married in the eyes of God) and St. Lucia will be the legal ceremony (so that we can be married in the eyes of the Canadian government). It’s a long story about how we got to this point of two weddings and I won’t bore you with it. You will just have to bear with seeing another wedding photos post in June-ish about our St. Lucia wedding. For now, let’s focus on the Philippines wedding.
It was a dream come true. I couldn’t have asked for more. The main reason I’m writing this random wedding (and non-millennial-life-related post) is because we finally got the professional photos and I think the decorations were so beautiful and Pinterest-worthy that I just HAVE to share a few photos! All thanks to my Mom and Dad who hired the best wedding planner in the city, Annie Paz Lim. All I told her is that I wanted a white / gold colour scheme and classy / elegant theme. And she nailed it! I hope you enjoy the photos below 🙂
